OSHR 1104 - The Great War and the 20th Century

The experience of World War I molded the entire 20th century, worldwide. This course examines how that war changed the entire direction of human history and how it still affects world events today. Focus will be not only on political history, but also on the manner in which the Great War changed our perceptions of history and of ourselves.
