India and China are two of the oldest cultures on earth and evolved very differently. At times in history, each was the most sophisticated and most technologically advanced civilization in the world. We will compare the major historical themes, inventions, philosophies, religions, art, and music from their traditional roots and golden ages before the calamity of European invasions.

Sally Purath

: Sally Purath earned a B.A. in social sciences and a M.Ed. at Colorado State University. She taught history, world humanities, and language arts for 26 years in the Poudre School District, including the International Baccalaureate Program: Theory of Knowledge for nine years, and has led National Endowment for the Humanities institutes and other teacher workshops.
