  • Denver

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Have you ever wondered about the terms "land conservation" and "open space", as they relate to Larimer County? Join leaders from the Larimer County Open Lands Program, (a publicly funded program) and the Legacy Land Trust ( a private nonprofit organization) to get an overview of their efforts in citizens’ behalf.

Learn the values of conserving land, the "tools" they use, the primary goals of these two entities, and how they work together. Also, you will be given an opportunity hear about the Open Lands Master Plan and share your priorities, if you would like.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
