Three "Usual Suspects" will discuss -from three notably different viewpoints - Six Great Events that changed the United States and the World. We will address in subsequent weeks: 1) 1901, Transatlantic Radio; 2) 1869 - 1920, Women’s Suffrage; 3) 1908, Henry Ford’s Model "T" car; 4) 1914 - 1918, The Great War; 5) December 7, 1941, Attack on Pearl Harbor; 6) 1949, Mao Zedong and Communist control of China.
Each of these events and the resulting transformation of American attitudes and outcomes will be considered from an optimistic, pessimistic, and realistic point of view, followed by an open forum.
