  • Fort Collins

This course is offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Colorado State University. You must be a member of Osher to enroll in this course.

Judaism is the 4,000-year-old tradition of the Jewish People, encompassing all aspects of their life as a people. The course will explore many of the core teachings of Judaism, and we will also look at some of the many ways Judaism, as the first of the three great Western monotheisms, has influenced its younger siblings, Christianity and Islam. We will also consider the role that the Land and State of Israel have played, and continue to play, in the expression of modern Judaism.
