Are you fascinated by foreign societies, but unable to travel abroad? This course offers the learning experience of travel without a passport. Learn about distant and intriguing countries through the examination of international affairs and global issues. Offered in partnership with the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, this class part of the Great Decisions program - features group interactions to enhance understanding of foreign policy issues and their global impact. Discussions focus on readings and materials published by the Foreign Policy Association. Topics include:

  • Turkey: Partner in Crisis
  • U.S. Global Engagement and the Military
  • South Africia's Fragile Democracy
  • Global Health Issues

Readings: Great Decisions 2018 Briefing Book, Foreign Policy Association. This book can be purchased during the first class from the League of Women Voters at a cost of $30.
