NRRT 507 - Environmental Education Planning

This course will introduce students to best practices in planning and designing environmental education programs. Content will include an overview of various approaches to environmental education, addressing public school students in environmental education, and using the North American Association for Environmental Education's "Guidelines for Excellence" to plan and design environmental education programs, Case studies will be examined to compare and contrast existing models at work in the outdoors and in the classroom.

Note: This course does not count toward licensure or certifications for professional educators,
