This course introduces students to the technical aspects of sport coaching including personnel relationships (players and coaches), organization and contest management, coaching ethics, evaluation of personnel, and administrative responsibilities. HES 309 offers coaching certification through the American Sport Education program.
Students not taking this course for academic credit should register for GSLL 3010, section 200.
