EDCT 472 - Classroom Management

Introduction to student management techniques and program management. Teachers will create a preliminary unit plan.

This introductory course, along with the mentored field-based experience, will help teachers develop day-to-day classroom management skills. Topics include: planning
instruction, positive learning environments, performing administrative and clerical tasks, safety and liability, assessment, student management techniques, and program
management.

Prerequisite

Admission to TAP; EDCT 471 Orientation and Assessment of New Teachers, or for renewal credits.
