BUS 690F - Contemporary Issues - Finance: Financial Planning Theory and Practice

This course focuses on the following topics: time value of money, personal financial statements, analysis of current financial position, retirement plans, government sponsored benefits and education planning. Additional topics will include: economic factors affecting financial planning decisions, ethics, and the financial planning process. The course is designed to meet part of the education requirements for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢ certification.
