BUS 690A - Contemporary Issues in Business: Supply Chain

This executive education model with cover some fundamentals of supply chain management, but primarily we will cover a series of emerging supply chain and logistics issues. These topics will include supply chain resilience and disruption; the shift towards omni-channel, next-day delivery, and unlimited returns; supply chain cyber security; and many other emerging topics. The way firms operated will change drastically in the 2020’s. The aim of this discussion- and lecture-based course is to engage both supply chain and non-supply chain-oriented professionals in a survey of the supply chain and logistics topics that will be most important to their firms in the coming decade.

Prerequisite

Admission to a College of Business graduate program or instructor approval.

Important Information

This class takes place over 2 days and can be attended in-person and via our Mosaic wall. Students must attend both days from 9:00-4:00 pm MST. If you are registering for the IN-PERSON class, please register for section 703; if you will be attending VIRTUALLY and SYNCHRONOUSLY via the Mosaic wall, please register for section 803.
