Melissa Luna has over 15 years of experience with career coaching and organizational training/recruiting. She believes that providing unique career development tools and training programs is crucial to engage our younger generations. Working with youth on recognizing their individual strengths, helping improve their communication skills, and identifying their career/academic interests is a passion for Luna. This includes helping young professionals understand how to conduct a college search, develop college/job application materials, resume or cover letter development, and/or develop a strong on-line presence. She also has a background in helping young professionals learn proper professional etiquette, how to become more civically engaged in their communities, and how to develop essential (soft) skills that might not be attained in the academic environment (student development that takes place outside of the classroom).

An alumna of Colorado State University, Luna graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She later received her graduate degree in Education (MS. Ed.) from Texas A&M University. Luna recently completed her Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) certification in March 2016, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Certification in May 2016, and completed the Gallup Strengths Coaching Certification Course for certification in October 2016.

She is an energetic presenter who is a topic expert on the future of talent development programs, leadership, and career development. When not engaged in speaking or helping clients with their career development and ttraining needs, Luna can be found in the gym preparing for powerlifting competitions.
