Debi is Founder, CEO & President of HR Cert Prep Pros, Inc.; Principal of Denver Executive Consultants; Sr. HR Consultant with Summit HR Solutions LLC; and has taught PHR/SPHR Certification Prep Courses since 2004. She has previously held positions as VP-HR, IntelePeer Cloud Communications; Director of HR & Employee Engagement, Unisyn Medical Technologies; Director of HR, Aztek Networks; Founder and VP–HR & Administration, Live Wire Networks. Debi graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, Marketing & Organizational Behavior from Loyola University in Maryland and a Master of Education in Organizational Performance & Change from Colorado State University. Debi earned her PHR in 1997; SPHR in 2001; SHRM-CP & SCP and SPHRi in Spring 2018.
Debi has taught more than 1,500 HR professionals in her PHR/SPHR Certification Prep Courses at CSU and Regis University and has consistently achieved student pass rates of 80-100%. In 2017, she founded HR Cert Prep Pros to bring her passion for teaching, certification, coaching, and mentoring to a broader audience of aspiring HR professionals and HR certification prep course instructors and sponsoring organizations.
Dee Anna Grismore
Dee Anna is Founder & Principal of Higher Results LLC since 2007 and is Sr. Human Resources Director for The Denver Post and sister company Prairie Mountain Media, where she provides human resources support for 15+ media outlets around Colorado. In her current role as a strategic HR business partner, she is focused on effectively executing human resource strategy by implementing best practices in employee relations, training and development, compliance, and human capital management. Dee Anna's industry experience includes computer software and hardware, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, mass media, petroleum, retail, and automotive.
Dee Anna has held several Board of Director positions including District Director for the Denver and Colorado Springs areas for CO SHRM and Special Events Director and Vice President for CHRA (now Mile High SHRM). She holds an Associates Degree in Management/Human Resources and graduated with honors with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance. She is a member of Delta Mu Delta Honor Society. Dee Anna is an Organizational Development Certified Professional (ODCP) and became SPHR certified in 2008 and SHRM-SCP certified in 2015.
Gayle is COO of HR Cert Prep Pros, Inc. and Founder & Principal of GH2R Ltd., an HR consulting practice. She has co-instructed PHR/SPHR Certification Prep Courses with Debi since 2010, with student pass rates consistently in the 80-100% range. Her career experience spans multiple industries, including high tech manufacturing, commercial food production, energy, automotive, and professional services through roles in both management and human resources. Her practice centers on aligning organizational practices with strategic goals and objectives to maximize business efficiencies and increase revenue while limiting liability exposure.
Gayle has served as Director of Human Resources for Advanced Assembly and has held HR roles with Coleman Natural Foods, Administaff (now Insperity), AutoNation and Phillips Petroleum (now ConocoPhillips). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Organizational Performance and Change from Colorado State University. She has been SPHR certified since 2001.
