Why study Human-Animal Interactions (HAI)?
This unique certificate program will train you how to safely and ethically integrate companion animals into a variety of treatment settings and create mutually beneficial relationships with animals and the environment. In addition, you will gain the skills to provide grief counseling during the loss of companion animals and to better address the demands facing veterinary professionals and other animal caregivers.
Developed in collaboration with the HABIC Center
This graduate certificate is offered in collaboration with the Human-Animal Bond in Colorado (HABIC) Center, which sponsors animal therapy programs, education, and research to explore and advance the benefits of the human-animal bond.
