Every credit earned in this certificate can later be applied toward the CSU College of Business’s online (or on-campus) Master of Computer Information Systems (after formal admission per University transfer policies). However, successfully completing the graduate certificate does not guarantee admission into the master’s program.
Both the College of Business and the Graduate School strive to provide the support you need to succeed in your program, and both offer numerous services to ensure that students can get assistance or support in a timely manner. All admitted students have access to a CIS advisor and CIS faculty throughout the program. Your CIS advisor will be available to approve of programs of study and to assist with program planning, in addition to many other areas of your academic experience.

Request one official transcript of all collegiate work completed from all institutions attended. Transcripts must be received directly from the originating institution to be considered official. Transcripts from Colorado State University are not required.

Academic performance explanation (if GPA is below 3.0): If your most recent degree (undergraduate or graduate) cumulative GPA is below 3.0, complete and email the academic performance petition (PDF) to gradadmissions@business.colostate.edu.
