Legal Considerations for Radiation Risk and Dose Reconstruction used in Compensation Program Decisions and Civil Litigation The course will compare meth¬ods used in dose and risk assessments performed for compensation programs such as EEOICPA with those used in civil litigation to establish that a claimant’s ra¬diation dose is an actual and proximate cause of his or her cancer.

Dr. Johnson's research in the laser research lab is focused on safety and laser injury recovery and the acute effects of ionizing radiation. Dr. Johnson received his Ph.D. in health physics from the School of Health Sciences at Purdue University.
