EDLL 3020 - Behavioral Modification in the Preschool Classroom

Noncredit

Delivery/Location: Online

This online course is designed to review current psychological principles related to behavior modification and to provide specific steps to assist in the modification of problematic behavior often seen in preschool classrooms. Material will be presented via narrated PowerPoint slides, and you will have a variety of handouts to read. You will use this material to create blog postings about the skills we discuss, including how these skills impact the behavior you are tracking in a select student.

This will be a hands-on class. You will receive feedback from me, from your classmates, and from your co-teachers regarding skills, effectiveness, additional techniques you may wish to use.

This is a 6-week course. Students work independently, but should pace themselves to derive maximum benefit and to provide timely feedback to classmates.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado State University academic transcript.
