This course will survey a variety of topics related to corporate risk management including: the role and function of insurance and risk management for business enterprises; identification, measurement, and tools for managing of liability, property, and employee risks. The course will also familiarize you with the public policy issues related to individual versus group insurance, social versus private insurance, auto and workers compensation systems, insurance pricing, professional and product liability, employee benefits and pension systems, and several areas of government regulation.
