The objective of this class is to provide the student with an understanding of the risks facing a corporation and how the financial manager can work to mitigate those risks. The class will include a description of some of the financial institutions in the system such as banks, insurance companies, investment banks, hedge funds, mutual, and trading markets as well as description of the hedging tools such as futures, options, and interest-rate swaps to help mitigate some of the risks faced by the firm.

The classroom enrollment is limited so register as soon as possible.
