If you are a person who needs a little structure for an effective way of learning and studying then the SHRM Learning System course at CSU is for you! While it may seem the material is just about memorization there is more to it than that. Class discussion allows for a complete synthesizing of the material to gain a deeper understanding. This will greatly improve your chances of choosing the correct multiple choice answer when you have it narrowed down to two possibilities. And, believe me, that happens a lot!

I was so fortunate to find CSU's SHRM Learning System Course! In November 2010, I began networking in the HR community and noticed that my lack of a certification was a hindrance for me. I knew at that point that I needed to look into the certification process. I was also a full-time Ph.D. student beginning my dissertation and working a full-time and a part-time job. I felt that self-study was probably not my best option and selected CSU. I knew that I had made the best decision within my first ten minutes of class. We had two instructors, Debi and Gayle who were absolutely incredible! It was clear that they were excited for us and had so much to offer! I literally looked forward to coming to class every Wednesday night. I was fortunate to not only have two knowledgeable and engaging instructors but also a great peer group that I studied with outside of class.
