Learn from our students how our online programs offer you the same degree, same faculty, same Colorado State University, in a format that fits your life.
What does studying online with CSU mean for you?
Colorado State University is a diverse and ever-growing community made up of people not just on campus, but around the nation and the world. We welcome our online students everywhere to be part of the CSU Ram family.
You can earn a quality education from wherever you are. The programs we offer online are the same programs offered on campus, taught by the same expert faculty. A CSU degree is a CSU degree, regardless of how you take courses.
You can adapt your schedule to fit your life. One of the aspects of studying online our students value the most is the flexibility it offers. In most online courses, lectures and group discussions take place asynchronously, so you can "attend" class when it's most convenient for you.
You can access useful University resources. As a CSU student, you can take advantage of a variety of campus resources made available online, including electronic books and journals at Morgan Library, writing guides and consultation services at the Writing Center, resources for disabled students, veterans, adult learners, and international students, and much more.
You can participate in graduation on campus. Each semester, we invite graduates to join us for a graduation brunch on campus, and to walk in CSU's commencement ceremonies.

Hear from Our Students
"When doing my online program… I was thinking about it… I have studied in this chair, I have studied in my bed with my five year old, I've studied on a cardboard table in a construction zone, I've studied in my car while my child was at cheerleading practice. Because you can connect wirelessly, you can do it anywhere."
— Judy Ortiz, higher education leadership
"With my style of learning, I'm very much an introvert. So being able to sit back and reflect on my answers [for online class discussions] instead of having to speak up out loud, I'm able to reflect and give my answers on my own time and in my own space."
— Steve Willich, student affairs in higher education
"During my [time as a student], we had our first child, so it was very hectic in the very beginning, having an infant and my wife at home. So with the program, it allowed me to do my coursework in the little time that I had available once my daughter was born."
