Grading CSU OnlinePlus Courses
We would like to share with you the grading policies for Colorado State University and subsequently the Division of Continuing Education (applicable to courses offered through OnlinePlus). The grading of academic courses offered through OnlinePlus is the exact same process as it is for courses offered on-campus.
These policies and processes apply to all faculty teaching courses through CSU OnlinePlus.
Submitting Grades
As instructors associated with Colorado State University, you have access to ARIESweb to submit grades for all of your courses. You will find the grading tools under the "Grade Input" link as well as helpful resources to guide you through the process including how-tos and frequently asked questions.
If your courses use RamCT, there is a process that will allow you to enter grades in RamCT and import them into CSU's student information system. The resources below detail how this import process works.
Keep in mind that you will need your eID to access ARIESweb and RamCT. If you need technical assistance with either of these tools, contact the Registrar's Office.
Retroactive Grade Changes
If you file an incomplete grade for a student or incorrectly enter a grade, as the instructor, you will need to complete the Grade Change Form. Once the form has been completed you will need to forward it to the appropriate department by mail for signatures. As soon as the department head has signed the form, the Grade Change Forms are to be hand carried to the Records Office to protect both the department's and student's academic integrity. For instructors who are off-campus, please work your department to receive assistance in the hand delivery process.
OnlinePlus staff have Grade Change Forms on file; if you need forms we are happy to mail them to you.
